Lab Technician vacancy requiring profound Analytical Chemistry knowledge for a globally operating Basel based company in the Pharma sector.

Your tasks:

• Analysing of samples for a variety of compound classes including small molecules, oligonucleotides and proteins using HPLC-UV, HPLC-MS, SFC, GC-FID, GC-MS, LC-MS and RapidFire-MS
• Interpreting of the resulting analytical data, including using statistical tools
• Documenting analytical raw data utilizing a specific LIMS system to track samples and analyses
• Developing analytical methods using HPLC-UV, HPLC-MS, SFC, GC-FID, GC-MS, LC-MS and RapidFire-MS
• Maintaining and troubleshooting of analytical equipment
• Developing and executing of assays to support enzyme screenings in HTP format

Your experience/knowledge:

• Solid practical experience with analytical instrumentation and methods
• Profound knowledge of analytical separation, detection, and measurement concepts
• Strong documentation capabilities, including record keeping, lab notebook, and reports
• Good command of statistical methods and primary computer skills
• University degree in analytical chemistry or analytical biochemistry or Lab Technician apprenticeship combined with ideally 4+ years of professional experience in related areas
• Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken, German - beneficial
