IT Compliance experience summary

We are seeking an IT Compliance and Security Specialist to ensure our IT infrastructure and security frameworks meet local and corporate standards. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining IT compliance, security protocols, and documentation, with a focus on ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and GDPR.

• ISO 27001
• Strong commercial experience with GDPR best practises
• Experience managing IT compliance and security frameworks within a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• IT Compliance & Security: Continuously monitor and improve IT compliance frameworks to align with standards such as ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, and GDPR.
• Security Patch Compliance: Ensure compliance for all hardware including PCs, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Policy Alignment: Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure local policies align with corporate IT standards.
• ISO27001 Management: Own the ISO27001 framework, drive continuous improvement, implement necessary changes, and conduct internal audits to maintain compliance.
• Asset Management: Oversee the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for IT assets and manage End-of-Life (EOL) hardware governance.
• JML Process: Manage the Joiners, Movers, and Leavers (JML) process for employees, ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding.
• Project Delivery: Manage and deliver IT projects on time, from documentation to Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations.
