Java Developer (Spring Boot, SQL) vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Developing, testing, and deploying high-quality applications for web, mobile, or desktop environments
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features
• Troubleshooting and resolving application bugs, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
• Writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code using best development practices
• Monitoring and improving application performance, scalability, and security
• Staying current with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends to drive innovation and improve development processes

Your experience/knowledge:

• Hands-on experience in Software Engineering, with focus on multi-threaded applications
• 4-6 years proficiency in Java 8, SpringBoot, WildFly, SOAP, and REST services
• Familiarity with FIX protocol and financial market infrastructure, including a deep understanding of financial transactions and data exchange in trading environments
• Extensive knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance
• Proven experience working with both relational and non-relational databases to support scalable solutions
• Language skills: English - fluent, German and Spanish would be advantageous
