About the Role:
Were on the hunt for a dynamic Gas Turbine Reverse Engineering Engineer to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role, youll take ownership of inspecting and reverse-engineering gas turbine components, utilizing your expertise in NX CAD software and engineering solutions. If youre passionate about gas turbine engineering and have a proven track record of success in design, collaboration, and technical documentation, we want to meet you!
Your Mission:
Conduct thorough inspections and measurements of existing gas turbine components to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings (NX CAD, 3D modeling, technical drawing).
Utilize NX CAD software to design and develop engineering solutions for gas turbine components, ensuring they meet or exceed original specifications (CAD design, gas turbine engineering).
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to provide technical guidance during the production of reverse-engineered components, ensuring quality and precision (collaboration, manufacturing processes).
Prepare comprehensive technical reports, engineering drawings, and documentation for all reverse-engineered components (technical writing, reporting, engineering documentation).
Core Competencies:
Expertise in gas turbine design and reverse engineering.
Proficiency in NX CAD software, with strong skills in 3D modeling and technical drawings.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to prepare detailed reports and documentation for engineering projects.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
3+ years' work experience in Gas Turbine Engineering or a related field.
Expertise in ANSI-Y-14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing.
Proficiency in NX CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship or a Green Card is required.
