IT Security Analyst - Insurance - London, City

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this company working in the Lloyd's Insurance Market as an IT Security Analyst working closely and reporting into the Chief Information Security Officer.

The Information Security Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the security operations, security assurance, governance, risk management, compliance efforts and cybersecurity.

This role will involve assisting in developing and implementing information security and operational resilience policies, procedures and standards. Other responsibilities will include working closely with Vendors to monitor and analyse potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to the businesses information systems, data and operational resilience.

The IT Security Analyst will advise on security technologies, and assist in internal and external audit activities, supporting the ongoing ISO27001 certification compliance.

Skill/experience required:-

• Essential - must have good experience with GRC processes and tools
• Experience in security analysis, risk management, or related roles with medium to large organisations
• Good knowledge of cloud platform security technologies
• Good knowledge of ISO27001, NIST, and other relevant security frameworks
• Familiarity with DevSecOps
• Experience with security assessment and Monitoring tools
• Experience in managing Microsoft Entra ID & M265 - Intune, Microsoft Defender, Purview
• Previous experience working in the Insurance Market or Financial Services is highly desirable
• Relevant industry certifications, such as Comp-TIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CSSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly desirable

This role is predominantly remote with 1 to 2 days a month in their offices in the City of London, as and when required
