Senior Systems Engineer - Linux, Ansible, and OpenShift

Your Role

You will collaborate with your team to take responsibility for the continuous development of our client's automation environment, container platform on OpenShift, and Linux platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute technical adjustments while adhering to incident, release, and change management protocols.
• Lead or significantly contribute to projects involving the procurement or evaluation of new components and technologies.
• Develop new solutions and demonstrate persistence in analysing issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule with your team of seven colleagues.

Your Profile:

• Completed training as an IT specialist in system technology, with further education at the FH/HF level.
• Proven experience with OpenShift and Ansible. Linux administrator certification (RHSA/RHCE) is an advantage.
• Extensive practical experience in the operation and administration of virtualization, storage, backup, Linux, automation, and data center infrastructure.
• A valid category B driver's license is required for specific on-site activities.
• Strong knowledge of German and professional proficiency in English are essential.
