We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to manage and lead large-scale mechanical projects across the UK for our client based in Leeds. If you have a strong background in commercial and industrial mechanical installations and are seeking to oversee high-value projects, this role could be the perfect fit.

Position: Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Leeds (with nationwide travel)
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)
Benefits: 7% pension, 25 days holiday, company car, healthcare

About the Role:
Morgan King Mechanical & Electrical are recruiting for this client in Leeds. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will take charge of projects valued at up to £1 million, leading all phases from planning through to execution. Working across commercial and industrial sites, you’ll ensure that each project is delivered safely on time, and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong focus on both technical quality and cost control, managing resources and ensuring that all work complies with current regulations and health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and deliver large-scale mechanical projects nationwide, ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are met.

* Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of project development, from resource allocation to installation.

* Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to maintain excellent communication and ensure project success.

* Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and work progress to ensure projects stay on track.

* Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and health and safety standards on-site.

* Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any technical or operational issues as they arise.

* Provide leadership and technical support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience in mechanical project management, particularly within commercial or industrial sectors.

* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and the ability to manage large installations.

* Exceptional project management skills, including budget management, scheduling, and resource planning.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and work with multiple stakeholders.

* A keen understanding of health and safety regulations and project compliance.

* Willingness to travel across the UK to manage project sites.

* Full UK driving licence is essential.
