Main Duties of a PIP Assessor:

Conduct telephone assessments for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP).
Analyse and interpret clinical information and medical evidence to assess claimants' functional abilities and provide detailed reports.
Work autonomously with support from colleagues and the clinical management team.
Ideal candidates have broad clinical knowledge and assessment/report writing experience, though full training is provided.

Essential Requirements

Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
One year post - registration experience
Current NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictionsSkills and Experience

Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to navigate various IT systems
The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Experience of working in a range of clinical settings
