PPA Cover Teacher
Location: Harlow, Chelmsford
Salary: £120 - £170 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: 3 days a week

GSL Education’s Chelmsford branch is seeking a reliable and dedicated Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) Cover Teacher to support one of our client schools in Harlow. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys classroom interaction without the added responsibility of planning or marking. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality cover during teachers' Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time.

Key Responsibilities for PPA Cover Teacher:

Deliver pre-set lessons to support continuity of learning during the teacher's planning time, with no responsibility for planning or marking.
Support students' learning by managing the classroom and engaging them with the lesson material.
Adapt quickly to different classes and year groups, maintaining positive behaviour management.
Collaborate with other staff to ensure continuity and progress in students' learning.
Maintain a positive learning environment for all pupils.
Qualifications and Experience for PPA Cover Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience in primary education is preferred.
Strong classroom management and adaptability across various subjects and year groups.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with students effectively.
A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
