KS1 Teacher - Rochester

Full-time - MPS/UPS - November 2024

We are currently recruiting for a passionate teacher to work within KS1 at a Primary School in Medway, starting after half-term. Both ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.

The school is a multi-form entry Primary school in Rochester, within a 10 minute walk from the town centre with great access via public transport and on-site parking. The school has been graded Good by Ofsted with special attention given to the behaviour and engagement of the students, as well as a strong Early Years department, setting the children up impeccably for their school journey.

The Role

Taking on full classroom teaching responsibility within a KS1 class (this is flexible).
Planning and marking responsibilities.
Collaborating with the SENCo in implementing intervention strategies.
Liaising with parents/carers and providing feedback on the learning taking place.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching KS1 year groups is desirable but not essential.
Have good knowledge of the UK KS1 curriculum.
DBS on the update service is desirable but not essential.
