Material Requirements Planning Controller

Our Basingstoke Based client are looking for a MRP Controller to join their team. The MRP Controller is responsible for optimising production planning and inventory control through the effective use of Material Requirements Planning systems.

Salary- £35k-£40k per annum

Duties
* Analyse and resolve MRP exceptions to maintain optimal inventory levels
* Monitor MRP system performance and identify areas of improvement.
* Execute MRP processes to generate purchase orders and production orders.
* Develop and maintain the MPS in line with sales forecasts and demand.
* Coordinate with sales, production, and supply chain teams to ensure the MPS is achievable.
* Predicting future customer demand for products.
* Collecting and analysing data to create accurate forecasts.
* Generate reports on inventory levels, production / warehouse performance, and supply chain metrics.
* Work closely with suppliers.
* Provide firm & forecast requirement windows to supply chain.
* Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
* Maintain and update MRP system data, including item master, bill of materials, and routings.

Skills
* Computer literacy.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in manufacturing or supply chain management preferred.
* Strong understanding of MRP principles and concepts.
* Proficiency in MRP software
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
