ROLE
Working as a Technologist, you will be responsible for the product safety, quality & legality in all product areas as well as supporting the management of a wide breadth of product suppliers, located across the country and sourcing from around the globe. Reporting into the Head of Technical, you will be playing a crucial role by executing the sustainability strategy and delivering on commitments to obtain the greatest strategic benefits. You will support the business to deliver the department plans and KPIs.
CANDIDATE
You will have previous experience in the Food Manufacturing sector, not necessarily from Fresh Produce. A Food related Degree or equivalent would be desirable but is not essential. You will have advanced abilities using the Microsoft package and all electronic data management systems coupled with strong communication skills. Spanish / Portuguese would be advantageous.
Hours of Work: 5 shifts of 9 hours across 7 days, Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday 7am to 4pm
Some Travel expected within the UK and abroad.
