TeacherActive are working closely with SEND (Special and educational needs) schools within Derby who are looking for some passionate and highly motivated SEND teaching assistants.
The schools are looking for people who have experience working closely with children with Special educational needs whether that is in a school setting or a healthcare setting.
The ideal candidate will be people who has a true passion to work in education - specifically in an SEND setting.
The successful Teaching assistant will be someone who is always wanting to make a difference everyday and will ensure they are building strong relationships with the pupils, staff and parents.
We offer day to day supply, short term roles, long term roles and permanent roles - both full time and part time!
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will:
Be highly supportive of each student.
Be patient and understanding.
Strive to make a positive impact.
Have a passion for working within an SEND school
