Accountant required for our client,, a leading Construction company. They are looking for an Accountant to support the financial controller.

Accountant Remuneration

* £40,000 - £45,000

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays

* 4% pension contribution

* 8am – 4pm working hours

* 2 days working from home

* Full package discussed at interview stage

Accountant Responsibilities

* Assist in preparing Monthly Management Accounts

* Monthly Payroll Spend Analysis

* Calculating and Processing Accruals

* VAT Return Preparation and Submission

* Assist in preparation of Budgets and Forecasts

* Review of Monthly Indirect Cost Payment Applications

* High Spend Reporting, Cost Analysis and Variance Analysis

* Clear interpretation of variances to forecast

* Provision of quality information which drives accountability and timely decisions

* Quantify and demonstrate value of initiatives

* Super user in Sage 200 and maintain control and set-up in Sage 200

* Carry out any other duties appropriate for this post

Accountant Requirements

* Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACMA) or qualified by experience (happy to support with studies)

* Experienced with word/excel/outlook

* Commutable to the office (no public transport links)
