CNC Miller
Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality, precision engineered products is currently looking for a CNC Miller to join their team on a permanent basis. Having been established for over 65 years they have a great reputation within their field
They employ over 60 staff throughout the site and are one of the best employers in the local area. They are constantly promoting from within and do lots of extra curicular activities out of work. Trips to wembley and other sporting events are of a regular occurance.
CNC Miller – Roles & Responsibilities
* Programme and operate Fanuc CNC milling machines
* Set up workpieces, cutters, and tools to meet production goals and deadlines.
* Manufacture new tooling according to engineering drawings, adhering to project timing plans and ensuring that all work meets tight tolerances.
* Perform self-inspection of work to ensure accuracy and quality before removing from the machine.
* Maintain a clean, organised workspace, following 5S principles, and comply with all health and safety standards.
CNC Miller – Skills & Experience
* Completed apprenticeship.
* Time-served CNC Miller with experience in setting, operating, and programming.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, work to tight tolerances and check your own work.
* Six Sigma and 5S training.
* 5S workplace organisation training.
CNC Miller - Hours
Mon - Thurs = 40 hour week.
Friday - Optional Overtime
