The Role - ASD Teaching Assistant
Qualiteach are recruiting for ASD Teaching Assistants to support across a mixture of year groups and abilities. This is an exciting time to join the school as we they are expanding. The ASD / SEN School offer a great place to work with lots of training and support throughout the academic year.
As a ASD Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students with Autism and possibly other SEN statements. This role is classroom based and you must be confident with supporting vulnerable young people with a mixture of behavioural and emotional triggers.
This role also involves supporting students academically with core subjects. You will work along side the class teacher/s and other areas such as speech and language and outreach / intervention activities.

This SEN School is a state of the art special school for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) from 4 to 19. They have have an exciting curriculum, a great staff team and provide lots of support, guidance, friendship and fun for all our staff.
This school is more than a school, it is acknowledged as an outstanding hub for (ASD) support for Lewisham. It takes a leading role in the provision of outreach support for children (and their families) in mainstream schools and Early Years Centres.
