My client is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join their busy kitchen team located near Bude

This role offers an average of 40-45 hours per week, with additional hours during peak season. You will work 5 days a week, with a combination of straight and split shifts.
Offering a competitive salary of £14.50 per hour plus free onsite parking, access to the resort's gym and spa, and paid breaks for shifts exceeding 6 hours.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the head chef in planning and directing food preparation
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food production and presentation
- Ensure quality and consistency of all dishes served
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of ingredients
- Assist in menu development and recipe creation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a sous chef or senior line cook
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
