Hours: Mon-Thurs: 12.00pm-8.00pm & Fri: 11.00am-8.00pm

Kings are currently seeking a Temporary Facilities Assistant for our Education client in Orpington. You will be part of a small but essential team, providing a flexible and reliable service to the site, including the site premises and grounds. A full clean driving licence is required. Also there is a possibility the role could go permanently.

Candidate Responsibilities:

* To maintain the security of the premises including regular visits to boundary fences and car park

* Operate a portering service for equipment/furniture and prepare rooms and furniture for functions/events

* Carry out tasks in line with Health and Safety procedure guidelines. (Protective clothing and Health and Safety training will be provided)

* Fire alarm and emergency light testing and fire extinguisher checking

* To be available for an emergency 24-hour call-out attendance

* General duties such as painting & decorating, changing light bulbs, closing windows & doors at the end of the day

Ideally you will have:

* Excellent communication skills

* Experience in maintenance/facilities roles

* Some computer skills would be beneficial
