A growing Software company in Fareham are looking for a data professional with strong SQL scripting skills, to play a key role in delivering data-driven insights to improve business decision making, and contributing to business performance.
This role would be well-suited to someone who is a keen problem-solver, has a passion for data analysis, and creating insightful visualisations for various business stakeholders.
In this role, you'll be working with large data sets in BigQuery, which you will analyse and transform into meaningful insights for business consumption in Looker (prior experience with this is not required). This may involve supporting forecasting processes, analysing marketing activity, identifying areas for operational improvement, and recommending appropriate changes.
This is a fully office-based role in the Fareham area - you'll be joining a highly social and collaborative team, where there's a real emphasis on knowledge-sharing and where you'll be encouraged to run with new ideas.
Requirements
Strong SQL scripting skills to query data
Data visualisation experience in any tool - they use Looker
Any experience with BigQuery would be beneficial but not essential
Knowledge of FP&A would be beneficial but not essential
Excellent communication skillsBenefits
Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
