Job Title: Part time Quantity Surveyor
Location: North West, UK

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our North West team, contributing to the successful management of our contracts and ensuring contractual compliance. You will work closely with the existing team to oversee financial reporting, manage subcontractors, and handle commercial issues with the Facilities Management (FM) contractor, the employer, and the end cient. Your role will involve maintaining accurate records, ensuring contract obligations are met, and supporting your colleagues in commercial and contractual matters.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure full compliance with the contract alongside the current team.

* Contribute to the preparation of precise financial reports.

* Oversee subcontractors from procurement through to the final account stage.

* Manage subcontracts during the liability period.

* Maintain and collate records essential for managing contractual obligations.

* Review and process historical records where needed.

* Engage with the FM Contractor, Employer, and End User on commercial and contractual issues.

* Assist in managing the Paymech process.

* Adhere to both contractual and internal deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Significant experience working in main contracting, specifically on educational projects.

* Knowledge and experience with PFI-style contracts and their interrelated components.

* Experience managing the Paymech process and working with FM Contractors.

* Familiarity with COINS (or similar systems) for contract and financial management.

* Ability to produce and maintain detailed and accurate contractual records.

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in record keeping.
