Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Handyman to join our growing team in London. You’ll be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks at various residential and commercial properties across the city. The ideal candidate will be a versatile, multi-skilled professional who can manage jobs independently while ensuring quality work and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform a wide range of handyman tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, tiling, painting, and decorating.
* Carry out general repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks for clients in both residential and commercial properties.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to building systems and propose effective solutions.
* Minor repair jobs, such as fixing leaks, repairing light fixtures, replacing taps, hanging doors, and assembling furniture.
* Complete routine property inspections and perform preventative maintenance when required.
* Maintain a clean and organized working environment, ensuring tools and equipment are well-kept and available for jobs.
* Travel to various job sites across London, often managing multiple projects in a single day.
* Provide excellent customer service, communicating professionally with clients and site managers to ensure satisfaction.
* Keep accurate records of jobs completed, including materials used and hours worked.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
* Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role, with a strong understanding of maintenance procedures and troubleshooting.
* Multi-skilled in carpentry, basic plumbing, electrical repairs, and tiling.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong customer service orientation with good communication skills.
* Ability to work with hand and power tools effectively.
* CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
* Full UK driving licence is required, as this is a mobile role.
* Must be flexible and willing to travel to different job sites within London.
* Own tools and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required.
