Do you have experience supporting pupils with social and emotional needs? Would you like the opportunity to work in an OFSTED graded 'Good' school?
The school is based in the Mansfield area (NG18) The role is full time and will begin October 2024
The main duties within the role will be:
Working in the school's enhanced resource unit
Leading academic interventions with children working below age expected levels
Supporting pupils with social and emotional needs
Working on a 1:1 basis with pupils who struggle to engage in class
Leading interventions around positive communication and teamwork
Managing the challenging behaviours of targeted individualsThe school are looking for someone who:
Is able to build relationships with pupils who present with SEMH
Has at least one years experience working in a school (Voluntary or placements are acceptable)
Has excellent classroom control and behaviour management
Can communicate effectively with pupils and colleagues
Will work effectively on your own and also as part of a team
