Atrium Healthcare is hiring on behalf of our client for a Senior Practitioner to join their Young People's Service. This critical role focuses on providing gender and trauma-informed care to children and young people at risk of, or affected by, child sexual exploitation (CSE), through targeted prevention and intervention services. The Senior Practitioner will be a key leader within the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective support.
Key Responsibilities:
·Provide trauma and gender-informed support to children and young people at risk of sexual exploitation.
·Complete training to become a Designated Safeguarding Officer, overseeing safeguarding concerns and representing the organisation in safeguarding matters.
·Act as a senior point of contact within the team, ensuring services are delivered effectively and to a high standard.
·Deliver educational workshops and training to young people and professionals to raise awareness of and prevent exploitative relationships.
·Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
·Manage a caseload of young people, offering tailored interventions and support.
·Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to meet the needs of young people.
·Maintain accurate case management records and documentation.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
·A full clean UK driving license with business insurance and breakdown cover.
·Experience supporting children and young people, especially those impacted by sexual exploitation.
·Strong knowledge of gender and trauma-informed practices.
·Exceptional case management and organisational skills.
·Ability to facilitate educational workshops and training sessions.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·Flexibility to work occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
·Experience in a safeguarding role.
·Relevant qualifications in social work, youth work, or a related field.
·Experience in multi-agency collaboration.
