The School and Role

ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated Science Supply Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Marston Green. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a lasting impact on students while working in a supportive and inspiring environment. As a Science Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop their knowledge and passion for the subject. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum. This role offers long-term stability, allowing you to make a significant contribution to the school’s science department.

The school is a well-established secondary school in the heart of Marston Green, known for its inclusive and supportive ethos. With excellent facilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality education, the school encourages creativity and academic success. The Science department is highly regarded, providing an excellent environment for both students and staff to thrive. There is a possibility of temp to perm with this role.

Requirements

The successful Science Teacher will have;

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
A passion for inspiring young minds
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to plan and deliver dynamic lessons
Flexibility and adaptability as a supply teacher
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
