Description

Maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical aspects of high-speed manufacturing machinery
Regularly inspecting machinery and performing preventative maintenance tasks
Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment to working order promptly
Collaborating with the engineering team to optimise machinery performance
Adhering to all health and safety regulations within the manufacturing environment
Documenting all maintenance work and machinery malfunctions
Working with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing processes
Continually learning about new machinery and techniques to improve job performanceProfile

A successful Mechanically Bias Shift Engineer should have:

An NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes
Solid understanding of mechanical components of high-speed machinery
Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team
A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safetyJob Offer
