Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 3 at a Primary School in Mansfield. This rewarding position is set to commence after the October half term and will continue for the remainder of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 support for a child in Year 3 with additional learning needs
Assisting with their educational development, focusing on tailored support
Collaborating with the class teacher to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Managing any challenging behaviours sensitively and effectivelyRequirements:

Previous experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable
A patient, empathetic approach and the ability to adapt to the individual needs of the child
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
A valid DBS check or willingness to apply for oneDetails:
