A vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Southwark is seeking a dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term role with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
Work one-on-one or with small groups of students, assisting with academic and personal development
Help prepare classroom materials and resources
Provide support to students with varying needs, ensuring an inclusive learning environment
Assist with managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies
Foster a positive, nurturing atmosphere that encourages student participation and learning
Contribute to the overall school community and its extra-curricular activities

Requirements:

A degree in any discipline (Education-related fields are advantageous but not required)
A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Previous experience working with children or young people is preferred but not essential
A DBS check on the Update Service is required
