About the Role:
As a General Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers, helping to create a positive and effective learning environment. You will support students both academically and emotionally, providing 1:1 assistance, small group work, and general classroom support. Your role will vary based on the needs of the school, ensuring every child has the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
Support students with varying learning needs on a 1:1 or small group basis
Prepare classroom resources and help set up activities
Supervise students during breaks and lunchtimes
Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, positive learning environment
Promote the social, emotional, and intellectual development of the studentsRequirements:

Previous experience in a school setting is desirable, but not essential
A passion for working with children and helping them succeed
Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles
