Our client, an established national manufacturing company, has a requirement for a motivated, proactive, and hands-on Stores/Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, duties to include:

* Inspect the levels of business supplies and materials to identify shortages

* Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilisation

* Initiate and coordinate optimal operational policies and procedures

* Adhere to all company handling and shipping legislation requirements

* Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

* Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system

* Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results

* Help to recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees

* Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met

Ideally applicants will have previous manufacturing experience but is not essential as full training given, A meticulous work ethic, excellent communication & management skills together with a good level of physical fitness are essential together with honesty and integrity.
