Maintenance Painter/Decorator
Your new company
Our client is a reputable contractor committed to providing high-quality housing and maintenance services to council properties. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance painter/decorator to join our team on a temporary basis.
Your new role
Your responsibilities will centre around maintaining and upgrading council properties across Edinburgh and the Lothians. These will include;
Surface preparation
Painting and finishing
Repair work
Touch-ups (upgrades)
Conducting routine inspections of paintworks and decorationWhat you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a painter/decorator whose background who is comfortable in a maintenance environment, working with members of the public. Successful candidates will preferably have experience in residential as well as commercial properties.Main requirements:
Proven experience as a maintenance painter/decorator
Relevant painting/decorating qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3 Painting)
Valid driving licenceYour work schedule will be a standard Monday to Friday, 9-5, with pay being allocated every Friday. Your Hays recruitment consultant will be in touch regularly to respond to any queries or issues you may have and make sure you are kept up-to-date and informed.Benefits:
