We are looking for an experienced Interim Health & Safety Officer with a background in Adult Social Care to join a leading care home provider on a temporary basis. This role is integral to ensuring the safety and well-being of both residents and staff, providing critical support during the launch of a new audit framework and fire safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and ensure compliance with health and safety standards across care homes, with a focus on adult social care.
Provide support and guidance to care home staff on maintaining a safe environment for vulnerable adults.
Assist in the implementation of a new audit framework, ensuring it meets regulatory standards and best practices.
Lead on fire safety - reviewing and ensuring policies are in line with standards.
Take on ad hoc projects as required, ensuring a proactive approach to safety and compliance.What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in health and safety within adult social care settings.
Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and the ability to implement robust safety measures.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage ad hoc projects.
Willingness to travel nationally as required.
Ability to work autonomously and in a hybrid working environment.Details:

Contract Type: Interim (minimum 3 days per week, potential for full-time)
Rate: £425 per day (plus expenses)
Location: National travel required, hybrid working available.
