We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and inclusive SEND school in Reigate. This school is dedicated to supporting children with a range of special educational needs, and they are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a real difference in the lives of their students.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
Assist class teachers in implementing tailored learning plans that meet individual student needs.
Support students with a variety of SEND, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties. and physical difficulties.
Encourage and facilitate student participation in classroom and social activities.
Help to create and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other staff to monitor progress and adapt support strategies where necessary.
Provide personal care to students when required.
Build trusting relationships with students, ensuring they feel supported and valued.
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children who have special educational needs is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine desire to help children with SEND succeed.
The ability to work well within a collaborative team environment.
A proactive approach to learning and supporting students.
Relevant qualifications in education or SEND are advantageous but not essential.
