The Temporary Works Manager will have the responsibility to ensure that statutory and regulatory requirements are met with regards to all Temporary Works (including scaffolding) across the site.

The Project:

This is a fantastic £135m, Grade II listed, cut and carve project based in the heart of London and we will be transforming the existing Edwardian building into a high-end commercial and mixed-use space.

Main Responsibilities:

* Management of all aspects of Temporary Works (including scaffolding).

* Ensure that site engineers maintain Temporary works registers throughout the duration of the project

* Coordination and management of site engineers for the projects.

* Attending site meetings to discuss Temporary Works design & Management

* Managing the competence assessment, training and mentoring of all personnel involved in Temporary works.

* Reviewing TW designs to ensure it meets the requirements of the company standards and procedures, and is produced in accordance with legislation, standards, and applicable national best practice guidance.

* Liaising with, for example, Package Managers, Project Managers, Engineers, Foremen, Temporary Works Coordinators, so that Temporary Works are identified and planned sufficiently far in advance, allowing for sufficient review, peer review and 3rd party approval (as required).

* Driving improvement in both the planning and undertaking of Temporary Works, through targeted initiatives etc., and ensuring that improvements / lessons learnt are shared.

* Undertaking audits, reviews and targeted inspections of Temporary Works erection to ensure they are being carried out in accordance with the project standards and procedures

We’re Looking For:

* TW designer with experience in; Falsework / Formwork / Scaffolding / Tower Crane bases / Facades

* Chartered Engineer (CEng)

* A minimum of 10 years’ experience in temporary works design

* Members of industry bodies

* Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
