If so, EdEx are exclusively working with a leading, creatively focussed mainstream secondary school to find them an Art and Display Technician. Due to the current Art and Display Technician's notice ending in December 2024, this will be a January 2025 start at present. Ideally the school are looking to interview ASAP, week commencing 14th October.

The school have a long-standing reputation for retaining, nurturing and supporting their staff. For example over the last 4 years only 5 teachers have left the school. This is due to the strong continuous professional development (training) for staff and every team working together to best support pupils.

Provide support to the teaching staff in producing resources for Art and Photography classes.
Ensure at the beginning of each day that the Art rooms are tidy and resources are prepared in readiness for teaching
Maintain display boards around the school
Support with displays needed for any school events
Supervise small groups of students working in Art and Photography especially Post 16
Organise the set up for mock exams and final exams in Art and Photography.
Accompany students on trips related to Art and Photography
Cover the lessons of Art and Photography teachers in the event of short-term absences
Lead the KS3 Art Club
Paid £105 - £115 per day - paid weekly
Monday - Friday - 8:15am - 3:15pm (28 hours per week, no weekends)
