Our client is seeking a Chartered (MIStructE or MICE) principal structural engineer to join their busy team in London. They are a leading provider of engineering services across public and private sectors and have a network of national and international offices.

Key Requirements:

Degree Qualified MEng/MSc
Chartered Engineer - MICE/MIStructE with experience supporting trainees as an SCE/DE/Mentor
Eurocode 8 or equivalent experience
At minimum 6 years' experience at senior level
Capability to work on challenging projects simultaneously
Proven ability to deliver projects/part of projects within programme
Conversant with Structural Engineering design software packages (TSD/ROBOT)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Day-to-day project, team and workload management to deliver projects on time and to budget
Stakeholder management
Ability to communicate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience
Prepare clear and concise technical reports and presentations
On-the-job and ad hoc training of more junior staff to meet project needs and support their progression
Direct line management of project team(s) through in person support
Be fully aware of duty holders responsibilities under the CDM 2015 regulations and apply these to projects, regardless of geographical localisation
