WHAT IS YOUR ROLE?
As the Business Development Executive, using a variety of business development and marketing techniques you will be responsible for introducing Smile Education as the number one Managed Service Provider (MSP) choice for Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs).

Your B2B Development Executive core responsibilities will be focussing on C-suite fact finding, lead generation, getting the brand/Smile name out to the relevant people, engaging with key people and supporting with the sales process.

You will be working closely with the Board, Marketing Manager and MSP Partnership Delivery team and this role offers you the opportunity for hybrid working.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Business Development & Marketing:

Effective lead generation.
Identify key C Suite contacts at MATs within our target geographical area.
Build immediate and future sales pipelines to meet Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Targets
Utilise a variety of business development and marketing activities to secure meetings such as LinkedIn messages, email, post, webinars, direct calling.
Log actions and information on CRM system.
Conduct thorough research on prospects and assist in tailoring sales pitches to customer needs.
Research and suggest events for Directors to attend
Work alongside the Marketing Manager to create successful sales campaigns.
Work with marketing to develop and maintain marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives.
Strategy and planning:

Evaluate, report and feedback on all relevant data and results in a timely way, suggesting any improvements.
Minimise and manage marketing costs and ensure marketing spend and investments deliver a return and have an impact within the agreed budget.
ARE YOU IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE?

Education Sector –knowledge and work experience within the education sector would be beneficial
Lead Generation – Proven track record in developing leads using a variety of techniques.
B2B Business Development – Proven track record in developing new B2B sales
Networker – Ability to negotiate, influence and persuade, both internally and externally
Marketing – Experience working closely with a marketing team and creating successful marketing campaigns across multiple platforms
Communication & Rapport building – Strong verbal and written communicator with experience building genuine rapport and relationships with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
Team Player & Influencer– High levels of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, adaptable to different personalities and ways of working, ensuring they get the best out of themselves and colleagues.
Self-motivated – Ability to manage own schedule and work independently, being accountable for results.
Detail oriented – Logical, methodical and structured
Service focussed – motivated by delivering the best possible service.
Reactive problem solver & solutions focussed – Innovative thinker with the ability to solve problems professionally and quickly
IT Literate – Comfortable with MS office and utilising a CRM system

£25-35k dependent on experience
