Our client based in Farnborough is looking to recruit a Production Technician / Production Engineer. The successful candidate will require excellent manufacturing skills to include Test, Inspection & Wiring.

The successful candidate will be:-

Ideally, an experienced inspector to IPC-620 and IPC-610 Class standards (IPC training will be provided).

Experienced carrying out Functional and Final testing of Electronic Assemblies, with practical, hands-on, problem-solving experience

Experience of Functional and Final testing of Electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs, using standard test equipment – Power Supplies, Multimeters and Oscilloscopes.

Ability to interpret Assembly drawings, Items Lists, Circuit Diagrams and Wiring Schedules

A Competent user of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel, and able to produce costed Bills of Materials and documents, such as Work Instructions.

Level 3 (e.g.ONC) or higher in a relevant discipline in Electrical or Electronic engineering or similar. Extensive work experience could be an alternative.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to engage and build rapport with all levels of people, including dealing with suppliers and customers.

Friendly but assertive approach, and the ability to influence and persuade others is important

Passionate, and energetic team player with a positive outlook.

Works well under pressure in order to meet deadlines
