About the Role:

Career Teachers are seeking an experienced and qualified Year 1 Teacher for a fantastic primary school in Lewisham, South London! This outstanding school, rated "Good" by Ofsted, prides itself on fostering independence, confidence, and self-belief in its students. This role can be full-time or part-time (4 days per week) starting ASAP, and is not suitable for ECTs.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:

Teach all national curriculum subjects, including Maths, English, Science, and Art.
Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to Year 1 students.
Create a safe and motivating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Implement behaviour expectations and manage classroom discipline effectively.
Assess assignments and tests to track student performance and identify areas for improvement.
Communicate effectively with parents and school leaders to support student learning and well-being.Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for passionate Primary Teachers with:

An Undergraduate Education Degree or equivalent with QTS.
Previous in-school teaching experience.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
The right to work in the UK.
Expertise in teaching methods and effective communication skills.
The ability to inspire students of all abilities.
Dedication to creating ideal learning conditions and safeguarding children.
Proficiency in office software.
Positive, outgoing, and compassionate traits.Salary:

Earn between £135-£240 per day as a primary supply teacher, depending on experience, or be paid to National Scale (MPS/UPS) for long-term or permanent placements.
