Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

The Role & Key Responsibilities

* The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will work on major data centres around the world, during RIBA stages 1-5

* The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will report to and work closely with the mechanical associate directors, as well as managing their own workload independently

* The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be able to mentor less-experienced, junior team members

* The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will work on the project whilst adhering to strict deadlines and budgets

Skills and Experience

* Essential

* Bachelor’s degree (BEng) or higher (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services

* Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in various large-scale or complex projects and mentoring junior team members

* Excellent communication skills

* Desirable, but not essential

* The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will have, or be working towards, Chartership (through CIBSE or the IMechE), though not essential
