Key Responsibilities:
Preparing ingredients, equipment, and workstations for practical food lessons
Assisting teachers and students during practical cooking sessions
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the food preparation areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
Managing stock levels, ordering ingredients, and maintaining equipment
Supporting students with their practical assessments and food technology projects
Ensuring safe storage and handling of food materials and equipment
Key Requirements:
Previous experience as a Food Technician or experience in a food preparation/catering environment
Strong understanding of food hygiene and health and safety regulations
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
A passion for food, cooking, and working with young people
