Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Darlington
Employment Type: Full-Time, temporary to permanent.

Hours:

This is a full time position, please do not apply if you are currently studying.

Day shift: 5.30am - 1.30pm

Pay rate is £13.84 per hour.

5 days over 7 which includes working some weekends.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by accurately selecting and packing products ready for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking:
Accurately pick products from the warehouse based on order specifications.
The use of a voice activated headset to track inventory and ensure correct selections.
Packing:
Carefully pack products to prevent damage during transit, ensuring all items are securely packaged.
Inventory Management:
Report any discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors promptly.
Safety and Cleanliness:
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Keep work areas organised and clean to promote efficiency and safety.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity targets.Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is a plus, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Basic math skills for order verification.
Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
