Maintenance Engineer

£45,000 - £47,000 DOE
Straight DAYS Monday - Friday
This is a really lucrative opportunity to work for a global organisation who are part of the heavy engineering sector. They have opened up a brand new site in Wednesbury and as part of the growth are looking to add an electrically biased maintenance engineer to the team. This role will involved PLC interrogation training if desired. If you have a background being able to work with Siemens s7-1200 PLC - ladder/function blocks/structured control language and do basic interrogation/adjustments this would be an advantage. They can also send you on a course to lean moire on PLC's.
Note - due to the nature of the job this will also involve a large element of mechanical work including PPM's

Experience required for the maintenance engineer:
5 years + experience working as a multi-skilled electrically biased maintenance engineer
level 3 qualified in an electrical discipline
Worked with bearings, straps, belts, chains, pulleys, etc
experience with PPM's
Troubleshoot and maintain inverters, frequency converters, and other key electrical systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics to diagnose faults and identify components.
Conduct electrical fault finding and testing of AC/DC systems, single-phase and three-phase power supplies.
Any Maintenance Engineer from any background willing to apply – metal processing, heavy plant, recycling etc
