About the Role

You are joining the team as a Senior Business Development Manager to introduce our varied solutions to the people whose challenges they solve and arrange compelling proposals to bring them on as new clients. By delivering this you will contribute to Cloud Facilities Services Group cementing ourselves as the leading provider in the cleaning industry across Manchester.

What you will be selling

We cater to businesses of any size over a wide range of sectors. Our highly experienced in-house teams are equipped with the necessary skills and technology to deliver a wide range of services to a varied portfolio of clientele including commercial offices, schools and building contractors to name but a few.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be involved in:

* Build relationships with your prospects through calls, face-to-face meetings, and video meetings

* Build a sales pipeline of new business opportunities into the Manchester market that will ensure that the sales target will be met

* Demonstrate our solutions, concisely, and relevant to all new prospects

* Identifying opportunities in the territory, taking the opportunity from initial contact to negotiating and closing the sale

* Identify opportunities within the existing customer base to maximise sales revenue

* Develop new channels for selling consumables held within stock

* Reviewing profitability of contracts with the Senior Leadership Team

* Adapting to both internal and external factors which may change your strategic direction taking into account business objectives, government directives and customer requirements

* Generate leads through direct prospecting, lead management, networking, and partnerships

* Update and maintain your interactions on our CRM System

* Preparing and presenting costings

* Drafting (and improving where possible) our own proposal presentation

Essential Criteria

* Proven Business Development Manager with a track record of delivering contracts with a sales cycle of 4 months+

* Confident communicating with and influencing from owner-operated businesses up to Board Level

* Computer literate, organised, able to prioritise and deliver results

* Experience in consultative selling

* As a strong relationship builder, you have a number of prospects you can approach that could benefit from our services, be they schools, offices, councils or any commercial premises with a need.

Advantageous Criteria

* Experience selling Contract Facilities services or related services

* Existing relationships with clients
