Parts Supervisor
Active Personnel is looking for a Parts Supervisor to join our client’s growing team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring an efficient and smooth-running service. You will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, managing orders, and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the parts inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and properly organised.
* Process orders and ensure timely deliveries for both customers and service departments.
* Oversee the receiving and distribution of parts, maintaining accurate records.
* Ensure the parts department operates efficiently and meets customer expectations.
* Liaise with suppliers to negotiate the best prices and maintain strong relationships.
* Train and supervise parts department staff, ensuring high levels of performance and customer service.
* Monitor and report on department performance, including sales, stock levels, and customer feedback.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in a parts department, ideally in a supervisory role.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage stock and orders efficiently.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
* A good understanding of automotive or machinery parts is preferred.
* Experience in using parts inventory management systems is a plus.
