Company: A successful Civil Engineering Contractor with a strong presence in the industry, delivering projects from conception through to on-site project delivery. Our client operates across various sectors, including water and wastewater, infrastructure and coastal protection, highways, bridges, and railway civils works.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage the planning, design, and construction of civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Project Planning and Management: Oversee all aspects of project planning, from initial conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

* Team Leadership: Supervise construction staff and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

* Budget and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

* Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.

* Quality and Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and quality standards, implementing best practices in health and safety.

* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project delivery and minimizing potential issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Educational Background: HNC in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is highly desirable.

* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of project management experience within the civil engineering industry, particularly in water, infrastructure, or rail sectors.

* Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of NEC conditions of contracts and previous site experience.

* Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Licenses and Certifications: Full driving license and a CSCS card would be beneficial.
