Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Based in Brandon (with frequent travel to various job sites)
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per year

Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Quality Technician to join our clients' team in the construction industry. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials used across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be responsible for conducting on-site material testing, inspections, and quality assurance, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Site Material Testing: Conduct and document field testing of construction materials such as concrete, soil, aggregates, and asphalt to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess the quality of materials delivered to sites, ensuring they meet the necessary requirements.
Documentation and Reporting: Accurately record test results, compile reports, and communicate findings to the project team.
Travel: Frequent travel to various job sites is required, with occasional overnight stays depending on project location.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other site personnel to support smooth project execution.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Ideal: Civil Engineering or Engineering background
Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Attitude: A positive, can-do attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on new challenges.
Travel: Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to varying work environments. Benefits:
