CYBER SECURITY CONSULTANT

What you'll do:

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will play an integral role in enhancing our client's security operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring, detecting, analysing, and responding to security incidents within the SOC. You will execute incident response procedures, perform forensic analysis, and develop remediation plans. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial for success in this role. Additionally, you will develop detailed technical documentation while ensuring compliance with relevant security standards. Your expertise in the Microsoft Technology Stack will be invaluable as you provide adhoc technical cyber support to colleagues and clients.

  • Monitor, detect, analyse, and respond to security incidents within the SOC.
  • Execute incident response procedures, perform forensic analysis, and develop remediation plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Act as a SME in the Microsoft Technology Stack.
  • Provide adhoc technical cyber support to colleagues and clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging threats.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Cyber Security Consultant role brings high-level knowledge in at least three areas from a Cyber Security perspective. You have experience working with XDR Solutions such as Microsoft Defender and Crowdstrike. Your proven hands-on experience delivering projects in Cyber Security such as Identity and Access Management sets you apart. You are familiar with Threat intelligence sources both open source and commercial. To work in this role, you must be eligible for Security Check (SC).

  • High-level knowledge in at least 3 areas from a Cyber Security perspective such as Endpoint Security, Mobile Security, Infrastructure Security, Network Security or Cloud Security.
  • Experience working with XDR Solutions such as Microsoft Defender and Crowdstrike.
  • Proven hands-on experience delivering projects In Cyber Security such as Identity and Access Management.
  • Experience with Threat intelligence sources both open source and commercial.
  • Eligibility for Security Check (SC).
