IT 1st Line Support Engineer (On-site)
Location: South West Essex
Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum

A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a leading IT Managed Service Provider as a 1st Line Support Engineer, working on-site in South West Essex. We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual who excels in providing top-tier technical support and exceptional customer service. Role & Responsibilities:

• Respond to inbound support calls and emails, offering effective solutions.
• Log customer issues, queries, and requests in the internal ticketing system.
• Deliver 1st line technical support for Server, Network, and Desktop environments.
• Perform hardware configuration and software installations.
• Ensure adherence to internal and customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs), escalating issues when required.
• Maintain and create infrastructure documentation tailored to client-specific needs.
• Take full ownership of issues, ensuring they are resolved efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients to manage their expectations and provide regular updates.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar IT support role.
• Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, MS Windows, and Office 365.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service in a client-facing role.
• Confidence in working to and managing client SLAs.
• Experience supporting multi-site clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
