Your Role
- Leading the Architecture and Design of Salesforce solutions. Providing leadership and guidance to technical and functional team members, including setting best practice guidelines and frameworks.
- Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, up to and including C-suite. Establishing best practice ways of working with client side and partner technical teams.
- Own the design and architectural outputs from initiation to sign off. Act as an escalation point for technical and design challenges.
- Review delivered products and work packages to ensure best practice is applied. Using your knowledge of the ecosystem to recommend solutions best suited to the platform.
- Provide input and steer to project and delivery plans. From time to time, support the Sales team to create an Architectural vision for new projects, and business development activities and accelerators.
Your Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience as a Salesforce Architect, ideally on enterprise-scale projects in the Energy & Utilities sector, with a strong focus on Salesforce products.
- Proven ability to lead architecture implementations, working with internal teams, partners, and senior stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of key Salesforce products like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, E&U Cloud, Field Service Lightning, and CPQ.
- Experience working with ISV partner solutions and in multi-platform, multi-partner environments.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and designing architectures within these constraints.
- Knowledge of Identity Management within the Salesforce environment for both users and integrations.
- Experience with architectural governance processes and managing artefacts such as decision and assumption logs.
- Familiarity with cyber security, data privacy regulations, and compliance best practices.
- Expertise in declarative solutions like SFI tooling, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow.
- Experience in Salesforce integration best practices and data model design, including data migration strategies.
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce licensing models, including edition limits and feature licenses.
- Pre-sales experience, including leading bid submissions and presentations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
