About the Company:

On behalf of our motorsport client in Silverstone, we are currently recruiting for two Number-1 Build Technicians. Our client is a motorsport/ hyper car engineering solutions provider, currently partnered with a globally recognised supercar company.

Role responsibilities:

* Lead all activities regarding vehicle build and setup in all locations

* Promote teamwork and effective communication within the build team

* Responsible for the cleanliness and condition of the vehicle build area, tools and equipment

* Diligent in reporting observations, faults, and damage to the wider team

* High attention to detail and work ethic

* Motorsport or niche vehicle assembly experience essential – prototype into low volume production preferred.

* Proven and skilled use of software of CATIA V5, interpreting technical drawings and build procedures as appropriate.

* Proven high level of mechanical assembly competence

* Preparing and completing niche vehicle builds to the highest standard, specifically inboard / outboard suspension, chassis systems, engine dressing, composite body assembly

* Liaison with engineering team to ensure vehicles are built to exacting specifications

* Working with production and planning to ensure schedules are always maintained

* Liaison with SQE to ensure issues are documented and resolved efficiently

* Recording detailed data via ERP and build documentation

All applicants are required to have:

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

* Experience leading vehicle builds in a similar capacity/environment

* Confident use of MS-Office applications

* Proven skills in detailed analysis and problem solving from first principles

* Follow, create, and disseminate good working practises and processes

* Thrive operating in small team environments

* Able to positively contribute to developing processes based on changing project requirements
